Description
Count open entries until requiredOpenDays and return that date, otherwise an empty deadline and found false.
Calendar-day differences need real dates and a stated time basis. Fixed clock offsets, supplied working-day lists, and Gregorian date arithmetic answer different questions.
Count open entries until requiredOpenDays and return that date, otherwise an empty deadline and found false.
When to use this tool
Use Hold Pickup Window Explicit Calendar when you need explicit day or clock arithmetic with known inputs.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter dates, open, requiredOpenDays. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read pickupDeadline, found. Inspect found before interpreting the associated values.
Require aligned open flags and strictly increasing real YYYY-MM-DD dates. Count open entries until requiredOpenDays and return that date, otherwise an empty deadline and found false.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- The supplied calendar need not contain every consecutive date; found must be checked before using the empty-string placeholder.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use an authoritative calendar and timezone source when holidays, local dates, or civil-time transitions matter.
