Description
Add yes and no, plus abstain only when includeAbstentions is true.
Quorum, veto, delegation, and limit checks apply declared organizational rules to supplied records. Numeric consistency is separate from establishing actual authority or valid procedure.
Add yes and no, plus abstain only when includeAbstentions is true.
When to use this tool
Use Public Vote Abstention Role when you need a reproducible check against explicit governance inputs.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter yes, no, abstain, includeAbstentions. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read denominator, yesShare. Use the output convention below.
Add yes and no, plus abstain only when includeAbstentions is true. Require a positive denominator and divide yes by it.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- This reports a share without selecting majority, quorum, or abstention policy; an empty denominator is rejected.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
