Description
Return pledged minus disbursed and disbursed/pledged.
Trade-finance arithmetic combines supplied fees, exchange factors, timing windows, and reporting bases. A local consistency result does not establish document compliance, contract rights, or bank acceptance.
Return pledged minus disbursed and disbursed/pledged.
When to use this tool
Use Aid Pledge Disbursement Gap when you need one transparent cross-border cost or timing component.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter pledgedAmount, disbursedAmount. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read undisbursedAmount, disbursementShare. Use the output convention below.
Require positive pledgedAmount and nonnegative disbursedAmount. Return pledged minus disbursed and disbursed/pledged.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- Overdisbursement produces a negative gap and share above one; currencies, pledge conditions, actual receipts, and program outcomes are not verified.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Review the complete transaction, contract, bank terms, and applicable accounting policies before acting on a partial calculation.
