Description

Sum amount × duration and amount × supportedDuration; divide supported amount-time by positive total, otherwise return zero and defined false.

Amount-weighted time support measures how much of a stated financial exposure has matching documentation or eligibility flags. It differs from a simple invoice count or duration share.

Sum amount × duration and amount × supportedDuration; divide supported amount-time by positive total, otherwise return zero and defined false.

When to use this tool

Use Trade Credit Window Share when you need a supplied amount-time support fraction.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter invoiceAmounts, creditDurations, supportedDurations. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read amountTime, supportedAmountTime, share, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.

Require aligned amounts and durations with supported time within each credit duration. Sum amount × duration and amount × supportedDuration; divide supported amount-time by positive total, otherwise return zero and defined false.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Use matching currency and time units; support is supplied and no creditworthiness, enforceability, or financing eligibility is verified.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Inspect each underlying transaction and its evidence before interpreting coverage as verified credit or financing support.
