Immune Cell Absolute Relative Count Factor Tool

Calculate immune cell absolute relative count factor from explicit caller-supplied inputs.

Loading tool…

Description

Multiply nonnegative parentCellsPerVolume by childFraction, then grandchildFraction, both in [0, 1].

Immune-assay data can contain raw signals, blanks, gated event counts, dilution labels, and research thresholds. Their units and denominators differ, and arithmetic on supplied values is separate from assay validation or clinical interpretation.

Multiply nonnegative parentCellsPerVolume by childFraction, then grandchildFraction, both in [0, 1].

When to use this tool

Use Immune Cell Absolute Relative Count Factor when you need one transparent research-assay calculation or event-accounting check.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter parentCellsPerVolume, childFraction, grandchildFraction. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read childCount, grandchildCount, grandchildOfParent. Use the output convention below.

Multiply nonnegative parentCellsPerVolume by childFraction, then grandchildFraction, both in [0, 1]. Return childCount, grandchildCount, and the product of the two fractions.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Fractions are nested child-of-parent and grandchild-of-child shares; counts retain the parent's volume basis and are not independent absolute measurements.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
