Description

Validate nonnegative stock counts and closing within opening+restocked.

Hospitality plans use room counts, covers, service durations, portions, and stock balances. A local component applies supplied operational rules without confirming actual availability, service quality, or adequate capacity.

Validate nonnegative stock counts and closing within opening+restocked.

When to use this tool

Use Minibar Restock Opening Closing Balance when you need one explicit hospitality planning or reconciliation component.

Limitations and assumptions

  • Counts refer to one item and period; depletion is not automatically a verified sale, and no price or guest liability is determined.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Check the complete booking, layout, staffing, and service plan before relying on an operational estimate.
