Gyronny Eight-Section Angular Divider

Eight ideal gyronny centerline angular sectors; unclipped rays relative to caller explicit angular origin, not curved-shield equal areas.

Description

An eight-part gyronny angular construction uses eight successive sectors around a common center.

An eight-part gyronny angular construction uses eight successive sectors around a common center.1

Angular boundaries do not automatically fit sectors to a shield outline.

When to use Gyronny Eight-Section Angular Divider

Use this tool to calculate or review the supplied observations under the stated rules. Establish the source tradition, viewing frame, coordinate units and independently annotated features.

How to use Gyronny Eight-Section Angular Divider and understand its results

  1. Establish the source tradition, viewing frame, coordinate units and independently annotated features.
  2. Enter startAngleDegrees, using the field meanings and rules below, then run the tool.
  3. Read result.boundaryAnglesDegrees, using the output meanings and calculation rules below.
  4. Correct any reported input issue and run again. Before using a successful result, check the stated units, signs, reference scope and observation coverage.

Use any finite start angle in degrees. Return nine boundary angles start+45×i for i from zero through eight, defining eight successive 45-degree sectors. Do not normalize angles.

boundaries_i=startAngle+45i, i=0..8

Use the matching field units and the exact boundary, ordering and reference rules above.

Limitations and assumptions

The first and last boundary directions coincide after one full turn. The output does not generate polygons, clip a shield or assign tinctures.

Missing required fields, unknown fields, wrong types and violated rules return input issues. Numeric values and outputs must be finite. Extremely large composite outputs are rejected.

Alternative or Complementary methods

For a related step, use In Arch Arc Placement Angle Solver: Charges arranged on an arc can be assigned evenly spaced angular positions. For a complementary comparison, use Per Bend Sinister Diagonal Path Generator: A per-bend-sinister division can be represented as a diagonal across a rectangular envelope.
