Hydration Log Concentration Mixed Volume Tool

Compute an additive-volume mixture concentration from an explicit intake log; no intake recommendation is produced.

Description

Return the total and the volume-weighted concentration.

Logged servings, container volumes, and mixture concentrations depend on the supplied labels and accounting assumptions. A calculated amount is a record summary rather than a recommended intake or a personal safety assessment.

Return the total and the volume-weighted concentration.

When to use this tool

Use Hydration Log Concentration Mixed Volume when you need a bounded amount or mixture component from a personal log.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter volumes, concentrations. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read totalVolume, concentration. Use the output convention below.

Require aligned nonnegative volumes and concentrations with positive totalVolume. Return the total and the volume-weighted concentration.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Volumes and concentration bases must match and volumes are assumed additive; this is logged mixture arithmetic without nutrition, hydration, chemistry, or clinical advice.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Check labels and actual observations and consult an appropriate professional for individualized nutrition, hydration, or caffeine advice.
