Description
Multiply nonnegative population by eligibilityFraction, then uptakeFraction, then adherenceFraction, all in [0, 1].
Health-policy indicators compare supplied populations, procedural clocks, rule evidence, or modeled phase-in schedules. A consistent component does not establish actual access, legal entitlement, program quality, or clinical need.
Multiply nonnegative population by eligibilityFraction, then uptakeFraction, then adherenceFraction, all in [0, 1].
When to use this tool
Use Intervention Uptake Eligible Population Factor when you need one documented policy-record or indicator component.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter population, eligibilityFraction, uptakeFraction, adherenceFraction. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read eligible, starts, adherent. Use the output convention below.
Multiply nonnegative population by eligibilityFraction, then uptakeFraction, then adherenceFraction, all in [0, 1]. Return expected counts at each stage.1

| eligibilityFraction | Eligibility Fraction | Required. Finite number; minimum 0; maximum 1. |
| uptakeFraction | Uptake Fraction | Required. Finite number; minimum 0; maximum 1. |
| adherenceFraction | Adherence Fraction | Required. Finite number; minimum 0; maximum 1. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| eligible | Eligible | Required. Finite number. |
| starts | Starts | Required. Finite number. |
| adherent | Adherent | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Expected counts may be fractional and fractions are nested sequential assumptions; no patient eligibility, observed adherence, treatment suitability, or outcome is verified.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
