Material Status Support Share Tool

Calculate material status support share from explicit caller-supplied inputs.

Description

Sum quantities overall and where all flags are true, then return their ratio or zero with defined false for zero total.

Manufacturing balances compare recorded quantities on a common material basis. Yield, potency, moisture, and disposition counts answer different questions; a consistent calculation does not by itself authorize a product or establish manufacturing compliance.

Sum quantities overall and where all flags are true, then return their ratio or zero with defined false for zero total.

When to use this tool

Use Material Status Support Share when you need an explicit manufacturing quantity reconciliation or supplied-factor adjustment.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter materialQuantities, statusKnown, dispositionVerified, sourceMatched. Keep parallel arrays aligned. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read totalQuantity, supportedQuantity, share, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.

Require aligned nonnegative materialQuantities and three status/source flags. Sum quantities overall and where all flags are true, then return their ratio or zero with defined false for zero total.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • The share is quantity weighted and flags are supplied; it does not establish authorized disposition, actual source matching, product suitability, or GMP compliance.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Reconcile authenticated batch records and approved methods before interpreting the arithmetic. Product release, potency interpretation, and process suitability require the applicable quality procedures and responsible review.
