Description
Require nonnegative creditedDuration and return suppliedDueAt-recordedAt+creditedDuration.
Manufacturing time budgets depend on clock origins, pause conventions, and boundary inclusion. Subtracting timestamps produces a duration; whether that duration is acceptable depends on an independently supplied procedure or limit.
Require nonnegative creditedDuration and return suppliedDueAt-recordedAt+creditedDuration.
When to use this tool
Use Cleaning Log Reference Time Margin when you need a manufacturing interval or timing-budget calculation from supplied records.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter recordedAt, suppliedDueAt, creditedDuration. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read margin. Use the output convention below.
Require nonnegative creditedDuration and return suppliedDueAt-recordedAt+creditedDuration.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| recordedAt | Recorded At | Required. Finite number. |
| suppliedDueAt | Supplied Due At | Required. Finite number. |
| creditedDuration | Credited Duration | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| margin | Signed allowance under the subtraction convention above. | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Credit extends the numeric allowance under the caller's convention; times share units and no valid cleaning period, justified credit, cleanliness, or compliance is established.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use the applicable controlled procedure and complete timestamp history for timing decisions. Resolve clock units, pauses, and effective-date rules before comparing the result with an approved limit.
