Description
Link a laboratory report amendment to its reference record.
Laboratory study records track plans, test items, specimens, amendments, personnel and archived source data. A metadata tuple can preserve a link without authenticating the record or establishing compliance. An instrument date margin is distinct from demonstrated calibration and fitness for use.
Link a laboratory report amendment to its reference record.
When to use this tool
Use GLP Report Amendment Reference when checking the stated laboratory-study record or validity-date convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter reportId, amendmentId, version. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read token. Use the output convention below.
Require nonempty report ID, amendment ID and version. Encode them in that order as JSON text.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| reportId | Report Id | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| amendmentId | Amendment Id | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| version | Literal version text; no semantic ordering or current-version lookup. | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| token | JSON-encoded ordered tuple or literal token under the convention above; not a database lookup or authentication result. | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
{
"input": {
"reportId": "REP17",
"amendmentId": "AMD2",
"version": "v2"
},
"output": {
"token": "[\"REP17\",\"AMD2\",\"v2\"]"
}
} Limitations and assumptions
- The amendment is recorded without retrieving reports, proving authorization or assessing a change's validity.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use verified controlled study records and the applicable complete laboratory quality requirements with qualified responsible personnel for actual decisions.
