Description
Record the array convention attached to a resistivity pseudodepth.
Geophysical observations depend on acquisition geometry, sample timing, component orientation, reference levels and calibration signs. Ideal travel-time depth and one-dimensional alias bounds describe supplied models rather than a complete subsurface inversion. A referenced signal or pseudodepth label needs its original physical convention.
Record the array convention attached to a resistivity pseudodepth.
When to use this tool
Use Resistivity Pseudodepth Array Label when checking the stated local geophysical geometry, reference, sampling or calibration term.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter measurementId, arrayConfiguration, pseudodepthConvention. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read token. Use the output convention below.
Require nonempty measurement ID, array configuration and pseudodepth-convention wording. Encode the ordered triple as JSON text.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| measurementId | Measurement Id | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| arrayConfiguration | Array Configuration | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| pseudodepthConvention | Pseudodepth Convention | Required. Text; minimum UTF-16 length 1; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| token | JSON-encoded ordered tuple or literal token under the convention above; not a database lookup or authentication result. | Required. Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192. |

"arrayConfiguration": "Wenner",

"output": {
"token": "[\"M17\",\"Wenner\",\"source P4\"]"

} Limitations and assumptions
- Pseudodepth is not computed or interpreted as true depth; no resistivity model, electrode geometry or inversion is validated.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use calibrated acquisition records and an appropriate complete wavefield, geological or instrument model for physical inference and safe field operations.
