Endoscopy Photo Time Offset Token Tool

Reference-time bookkeeping for an existing photo record; no image or identifying metadata is accessed.

Description

Return recordedTime minus suppliedOffset when offsetKnown; otherwise return zero with referenceKnown false.

Research timing records need a common clock origin, time unit and observation boundary. A corrected interval or censored duration describes the supplied recording model; it does not by itself measure physiological transit or establish a diagnosis.

Return recordedTime minus suppliedOffset when offsetKnown; otherwise return zero with referenceKnown false.

When to use this tool

Use Endoscopy Photo Time Offset Token when you need a research timing, frame or clock-reference calculation.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter recordedTime, suppliedOffset, offsetKnown. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read referenceKnown, referenceTime. Inspect referenceKnown before interpreting the associated values.

Limitations and assumptions

  • The zero is a placeholder when the clock offset is unknown. No timezone, clock synchronization, or actual image metadata is derived.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use original timestamps and the study protocol to resolve timing conventions. Physiological interpretation requires the appropriate clinical or research assessment, including observation and calibration uncertainty.
