Food Traceability Shipment Date Order

Compare explicit shipment dispatch and receipt calendar dates without assuming transport conditions.

Description

Check the supplied calendar ordering of a traceability shipment record.

Food-safety records connect lots, certificates, control-point limits, sample times and recall communications. A recorded signoff or allergen label does not prove that a hazard is controlled. Traceability, validated limits and actual product conditions need the complete food-safety system and qualified review.

Check the supplied calendar ordering of a traceability shipment record.

When to use this tool

Use Food Traceability Shipment Date Order when checking the stated food-safety metadata, chronology or acknowledgment convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter dispatchDate, receiptDate. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read signedTransitDays, receiptBeforeDispatch. Inspect receiptBeforeDispatch before interpreting the associated values.

Parse real dispatch/receipt YYYY-MM-DD dates at UTC midnight. Return receipt-dispatch calendar days and whether receipt is earlier.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Negative transit is reported rather than rejected; time-of-day, temperatures, traceability authenticity and safe transport conditions are not evaluated.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use verified records, validated hazard-control methods and applicable requirements with qualified food-safety professionals for actual product release, handling or consumption decisions.
