Description

At nowEpoch at least expiryEpoch, move all balance to expired; otherwise retain it as available.

Financial records use explicit dates, periods, entitlement flags and policy boundaries. Numeric membership or age checks can establish consistency with a supplied rule without determining legal rights or the actual contract's meaning.

At nowEpoch at least expiryEpoch, move all balance to expired; otherwise retain it as available.

When to use this tool

Use Prepaid Balance Expiry One Tranche when you need a financial timing or policy-record diagnostic.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter balance, expiryEpoch, nowEpoch. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read available, expired. Use the output convention below.

Require nonnegative balance. At nowEpoch at least expiryEpoch, move all balance to expired; otherwise retain it as available.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Both epochs share units and origin, with equality expired. This caller-supplied rule does not determine enforceable expiry, consumer rights or actual stored value.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the governing instrument or agreement and source records. Use the appropriate calendar, day-count and professional interpretation when actual entitlement or obligations are at issue.
