Description

Compare useEpoch with revocationEpoch strictly or inclusively according to inclusive.

Consent, disclosure, duties and exceptions can be represented as records and flags. A consistency check describes those representations; it cannot independently establish valid consent, a justified exception or satisfaction of a real obligation.

Compare useEpoch with revocationEpoch strictly or inclusively according to inclusive.

When to use this tool

Use Consent Revocation Forward Use Boundary when you need a literal ethical-policy record or eligibility diagnostic.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter revocationEpoch, useEpoch, inclusive. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read afterBoundary. Inspect afterBoundary before interpreting the associated values.

Limitations and assumptions

  • Epochs share units/origin and the boundary policy is supplied. The flag does not determine actual consent, retroactive rights or enforce revocation in a system.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review source evidence, applicable rules and affected people's choices through the appropriate process. Authenticate permissions and evaluate substantive reasons separately from token membership and boolean flags.
