Hormone Sample Clock Phase Label

Label an explicitly recorded hormone-sample local clock time without interpreting circadian phase or reference ranges.

Description

Label a supplied local sampling clock and return its minute of day.

Endocrine records distinguish specimen matrices, assay methods, unit bases, reference editions and sampling clocks. A printed significant-digit count differs from numerical rounding, while a fasting label is a reported state rather than verified preparation. Image axes and result labels organize supplied observations without deriving hormone physiology or clinical interpretation.

Label a supplied local sampling clock and return its minute of day.

When to use this tool

Use Hormone Sample Clock Phase Label when you already have sampleId, localHour, localMinute and need to label a supplied local sampling clock and return its minute of day.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter sampleId, localHour, localMinute. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read label, minuteOfDay. Use the output convention below.

Require sampleId nonempty, whole hour 0..23 and minute 0..59; format HH:MM local and return 60*hour+minute.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • No date, timezone, circadian phase, sample timing suitability or dynamic-test protocol is inferred.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Reconcile the laboratory report, specimen and method information, reference source and collection timeline before comparing results. Use the complete appropriate assessment for a clinical question; one clock correction, diameter ratio or recorded status does not provide it.
