Description
Return converted and net remittance receipts after supplied fees.
Demographic economic terms combine population, monetary flows, taxes and discount conventions. A local cohort contribution or supplied income comparison is not a complete fiscal projection, benefit entitlement or individual financial forecast.
Return converted and net remittance receipts after supplied fees.
When to use this tool
Use Migration Remittance Net Receipt Factor when checking one declared cohort financial or fiscal contribution.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter sent, exchangeRate, senderFee, receiverFee, percentFee. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read grossConverted, netReceived. Use the output convention below.
Return converted and net remittance receipts after supplied fees. Require sent >= senderFee >= 0, receiverFee >= 0, positive exchangeRate and percentFee in [0,1]; convert sent-minus-sender-fee, apply percentage fee, then subtract receiver fee.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- Exchange rate is recipient currency per sender currency; net receipt can be negative.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use complete population accounts, applicable policy and justified economic assumptions before making financial or public-policy decisions.
