Base45 Pair Triple Group Value Tool

Compute base45 pair triple group value from explicit bounded inputs.

Description

Decode one Base45 two- or three-symbol group.

Encoded representations separate alphabet symbols, numerical digit values, byte grouping and tail padding. Recognizing one symbol or pad-bit pattern is not full payload decoding, and different alphabet variants can assign different values.

Decode one Base45 two- or three-symbol group.

When to use this tool

Use Base45 Pair Triple Group Value when inspecting one stated alphabet, group or padding component.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter token. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read bytes, value. Use the output convention below.

Decode one Base45 two- or three-symbol group. Map symbols to ordered base-45 digits, accumulate least-significant digit first and require a two-symbol value < 256 or three-symbol value < 65536; return one or two bytes.1

Base45 maps three symbols to two bytes and a final pair to one byte, subject to the corresponding numeric range limits.2

Limitations and assumptions

  • This handles one group only and does not infer a larger stream's grouping.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use the complete codec matching the required alphabet and canonicality rules for real encoded data.
