Description

Check a participant-defined category token against a unique supplied vocabulary.

Source support, credit and authorization are different concepts. Supplied flags and vocabularies can support record bookkeeping but cannot independently establish consent, cultural authority, equitable credit or legal reuse rights.

When to use this tool

Use Participant Defined Category Token when checking one explicitly supplied support, permission or credit convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter token, authorizedCategories. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read recognized, index. Inspect recognized before interpreting the associated values.

Limitations and assumptions

  • The authorizedCategories label records supplied policy, not verified consent or cultural authority.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods
