Description
Interpolate liquid-nitrogen density between supplied temperature anchors.
Cryogenic engineering calculations require compatible pressure, temperature, material and geometry conventions. A local heat-load, composition or contraction term assumes supplied properties and does not establish a safe system or complete thermodynamic state.
Interpolate liquid-nitrogen density between supplied temperature anchors.
When to use this tool
Use Liquid Nitrogen Density Source Interpolation when checking one supplied cryogenic measurement, material or load contribution.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter lowerTemperature, upperTemperature, lowerDensity, upperDensity, temperature. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read density, slope. Use the output convention below.
Interpolate liquid-nitrogen density between supplied temperature anchors. Require ordered temperatures, query inside their interval and positive endpoint densities; return linear density and density-per-temperature slope.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| lowerTemperature | Lower Temperature | Required. Finite number. |
| upperTemperature | Upper Temperature | Required. Finite number. |
| lowerDensity | Lower Density | Required. Finite number; strictly above 0. |
| upperDensity | Upper Density | Required. Finite number; strictly above 0. |
| temperature | Interpolation temperature within the supplied bracket, in a consistent temperature unit. | Required. Finite number. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| density | Linearly interpolated density in the supplied density unit; no nitrogen-property or pressure lookup. | Required. Finite number. |
| slope | Slope | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- No property database is consulted; phase, pressure, source validity and interpolation accuracy are not established.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
