Description

Split a supplied repair cost by a borrower fraction.

Community records describe contributions, volunteer time, grants, notices, language requests and meeting participation. Person-minutes differ from elapsed task time, assigned in-kind values require a valuation basis, and a nominal seat count need not be a whole-person allocation. Supplied participation or permission flags do not verify actual access, consent or eligibility.

Split a supplied repair cost by a borrower fraction.

When to use this tool

Use Community Lending Repair Cost Split when you already have repairCost, borrowerFraction and need to split a supplied repair cost by a borrower fraction.

Limitations and assumptions

  • No fault, obligation, agreement, value, actual repair or appropriate cost allocation is determined.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the underlying meeting, funding, service and volunteer records with the applicable project rules. Use full budgets, schedules and participation evidence when evaluating delivery or fairness; local labels and arithmetic retain only the stated assumptions.
