Description
Return distinct R-peak sample markers and duplicate positions.
Cardiac recordings use sample indexes, time origins, event markers and observation windows. A sample-grid count, interval conversion or phase comparison operates on supplied records; it does not detect an actual heartbeat, validate an ECG or determine a clinical diagnosis.
Return distinct R-peak sample markers and duplicate positions.
When to use this tool
Use Rpeak Marker Duplicate Token when checking the stated cardiac-record indexing, timing, phase or coverage convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter sampleIndices. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read uniqueIndices, duplicatePositions. Use the output convention below.
Return distinct R-peak sample markers and duplicate positions. Require nonnegative whole sampleIndices; uniqueIndices preserves first occurrence and duplicatePositions lists later identical markers.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |

| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |

} Limitations and assumptions
- No waveform, beat validity, artifact rejection or clinical rhythm is assessed.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Inspect the actual recording, acquisition settings and event annotations; use validated analysis and qualified clinical interpretation for patient-related decisions.
