Cardiac Waveform Pressure Time One Panel Tool

One signed trapezoidal pressure-time panel above an explicit baseline, without beat segmentation or a clinical waveform index.

Loading tool…

Description

Return a trapezoidal pressure-time panel with baseline adjustment.

Cardiac measurement formulas depend on geometry, units, calibration and reference origins. A Doppler projection correction, echo disc-volume contribution or waveform integral evaluates supplied quantities without validating image acquisition, signal quality or physiological interpretation.

Return a trapezoidal pressure-time panel with baseline adjustment.

When to use this tool

Use Cardiac Waveform Pressure Time One Panel when checking one supplied cardiac measurement, geometry or calibration term.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter firstPressure, secondPressure, startTime, endTime, baselinePressure. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read rawPressureTime, aboveBaselinePressureTime. Use the output convention below.

Return a trapezoidal pressure-time panel with baseline adjustment. Require endTime >= startTime; rawPressureTime = mean endpoint pressure*duration, aboveBaselinePressureTime subtracts baseline*duration.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Signed area is retained; this is one linear-panel approximation, not a complete pressure waveform integral or clinical measure.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use validated acquisition and calibration, a complete appropriate measurement method and qualified clinical interpretation; assess measurement uncertainty and model assumptions separately.
