Description
Allocate cluster weight equally among members.
Biostatistical terms depend on a declared observation unit, exposure denominator, event order and sampling design. A risk-set flag, paired discordance contribution or support-weight ratio can be computed locally without fitting a survival model, establishing a treatment effect or validating an inferential analysis.
Allocate cluster weight equally among members.
When to use this tool
Use Cluster Weight Size Ratio when checking the stated exposure, event, matched-pair or cluster-support convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter clusterWeight, clusterSize. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read weightPerMember. Use the output convention below.
Allocate cluster weight equally among members. Require clusterWeight >= 0 and whole clusterSize >= 1; weightPerMember = weight/size.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| clusterWeight | Cluster Weight | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| clusterSize | Cluster Size | Required. Safe integer; minimum 1. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| weightPerMember | Weight Per Member | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- This is a caller-selected equal allocation, not a validated survey weight, independence assumption or cluster-adjusted analysis.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Analyze complete verified data with a method appropriate to the design and censoring assumptions; assess uncertainty and consult qualified statistical and clinical professionals for health conclusions.
