Aquaponic Inventory Transfer Biomass Balance Tool

Calculate aquaponic inventory transfer biomass balance from explicit caller-supplied inputs.

Loading tool…

Description

Return transfer/harvest biomass balance and closing residual.

Aquaponic records allocate supplied bed area, tank volume, shared resources and observation support. A ratio or target gap depends on what is counted once and on the caller’s chosen target; it does not select a stocking, feeding or plant-production recommendation.

Return transfer/harvest biomass balance and closing residual.

When to use this tool

Use Aquaponic Inventory Transfer Biomass Balance when checking the stated aquaponic allocation, target or record-support convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter openingMass, receivedMass, transferredMass, harvestedMass, measuredClosing. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read expectedClosing, residual. Use the output convention below.

Return transfer/harvest biomass balance and closing residual. Require nonnegative masses; expectedClosing = opening+received-transferred-harvested, residual = measured-expected.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Negative expected balances are retained; growth, mortality, weighing error and actual animal records are not resolved.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use verified system records and qualified aquaculture/agronomic assessment for actual stocking, feeding, plant requirements or operational decisions.
