Self Paced Module Completion Rate Term Tool

Constant observed pace extrapolation with no learning-performance prediction.

Description

Return module completion share, observed pace and projected remainder.

Adult-learning records allocate supplied participation, contact time, credits and optional requirements. A local fraction or eligibility predicate follows the chosen counting policy; it does not assess learning quality, recognize a qualification or establish contractual entitlement. Excluded and optional components can change the denominator.

Return module completion share, observed pace and projected remainder.

When to use this tool

Use Self Paced Module Completion Rate Term when checking the stated adult-learning participation, requirement, text or time convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter completed, total, activeDays. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read completionFraction, modulesPerDay, projectedRemainingDays. Use the output convention below.

Return module completion share, observed pace and projected remainder. Require whole total >= completed >= 1 and activeDays > 0; share = completed/total, rate = completed/days, projection = remaining/rate.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • This assumes constant future pace; actual learning, competence and a suitable completion schedule are not established.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the actual course plan, learner needs and governing credit/recognition policy with the responsible educational team for substantive decisions.
