Description
Return agreed/accepted learning credits and unaccounted remainder.
Adult-learning records allocate supplied participation, contact time, credits and optional requirements. A local fraction or eligibility predicate follows the chosen counting policy; it does not assess learning quality, recognize a qualification or establish contractual entitlement. Excluded and optional components can change the denominator.
Return agreed/accepted learning credits and unaccounted remainder.
When to use this tool
Use Learning Contract Credit Gap when checking the stated adult-learning participation, requirement, text or time convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter agreedCredits, acceptedCredits, pendingCredits. Follow any array-alignment requirements below. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read agreedTotal, acceptedTotal, unaccountedCredits. Use the output convention below.
Return agreed/accepted learning credits and unaccounted remainder. Require aligned nonnegative arrays; agreedTotal/acceptedTotal sum each, unaccounted = agreed-accepted-pending total.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |

| agreedCredits | Agreed Credits | Required. Array of finite number; maximum items 256. |
| acceptedCredits | Accepted Credits | Required. Array of finite number; maximum items 256. |
| pendingCredits | Pending Credits | Required. Array of finite number; maximum items 256. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| agreedTotal | Agreed Total | Required. Finite number. |
| acceptedTotal | Accepted Total | Required. Finite number. |
| unaccountedCredits | Unaccounted Credits | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Negative remainder is retained; actual awards, pending status, assessment and binding learning-contract rights are not verified.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
