Experiential Cycle Stage Duration Share Tool

Calculate experiential cycle stage duration share from explicit caller-supplied inputs.

Description

Return one experiential-stage share of total time.

Adult-learning records allocate supplied participation, contact time, credits and optional requirements. A local fraction or eligibility predicate follows the chosen counting policy; it does not assess learning quality, recognize a qualification or establish contractual entitlement. Excluded and optional components can change the denominator.

Return one experiential-stage share of total time.

When to use this tool

Use Experiential Cycle Stage Duration Share when checking the stated adult-learning participation, requirement, text or time convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter stageMinutes, stage. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read totalMinutes, stageShare. Use the output convention below.

Return one experiential-stage share of total time. Require nonnegative stage durations with positive total and valid whole stage index; totalMinutes sums stages, stageShare = selected/total.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Stage labels, actual activity and educational effectiveness are not inferred from duration alone.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the actual course plan, learner needs and governing credit/recognition policy with the responsible educational team for substantive decisions.
