Description
Return field-pass travel and turnaround time.
Farm records depend on counter resets, measurement calibration, moisture basis and elapsed-time conventions. A corrected count or maintenance remainder reconciles supplied data without detecting arbitrary resets, measuring actual calibration quality or authorizing equipment use. A rollover flag represents a specific accounting assumption.
Return field-pass travel and turnaround time.
When to use this tool
Use Field Pass Turnaround Time Term when checking the stated machinery record, counter, moisture or timing convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter passCount, passLength, speed, turnSeconds. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read travelSeconds, totalSeconds. Use the output convention below.
Return field-pass travel and turnaround time. Require nonnegative whole passCount, nonnegative passLength/turnSeconds and speed > 0; travel = count*length/speed, total adds max(0,count-1) turns.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| passCount | Pass Count | Required. Safe integer; minimum 0. |
| passLength | Pass Length | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| speed | Speed | Required. Finite number; strictly above 0. |
| turnSeconds | Turn Seconds | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| travelSeconds | Travel Seconds | Required. Finite number. |
| totalSeconds | Total Seconds | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- This omits travel to/from field and other delays; actual productivity, route geometry and safe machinery operation are not assessed.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
