Description
Linearly interpolate solubility by the target's relative temperature position.
Agrochemical comparisons depend on reference-equivalent, charge, temperature and method conventions. A neutralizing-value product, charge-basis saturation or two-point interpolation is a limited calculation; it does not establish a soil treatment need, actual material performance or valid analytical certificate.
Linearly interpolate solubility by the target's relative temperature position.
When to use this tool
Use Fertilizer Solubility Supplied Temperature Term when checking the stated supplied chemical property, interpolation or metadata convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter temperature, firstTemperature, secondTemperature, firstSolubility, secondSolubility. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read interpolated. Use the output convention below.
Require increasing temperature endpoints, a target within their closed interval and nonnegative endpoint solubilities. Linearly interpolate solubility by the target's relative temperature position.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- Use one solubility basis and temperature scale; no extrapolation, phase behavior or real fertilizer compatibility is modeled.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
