Description
Return oxideMass*fraction.
Nutrient labels can report elements, oxide equivalents or fractions on wet, dry or anhydrous material bases. Stoichiometric conversion requires a verified chemical identity and the correct factor direction. A supplied source label and numerical factor record assumptions rather than proving the underlying chemical definition.
Return oxideMass*fraction.
When to use this tool
Use Fertilizer Elemental Oxide Equivalent Factor when checking the stated nutrient, moisture or elemental-equivalent convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter oxideMass, suppliedElementFraction. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read elementMass. Use the output convention below.
Require nonnegative oxide mass and supplied elemental mass fraction in [0,1]. Return oxideMass*fraction.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| oxideMass | Oxide Mass | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| suppliedElementFraction | Supplied Element Fraction Unit: 1. | Required. Finite number; minimum 0; maximum 1. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| elementMass | Element Mass | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- The elemental fraction is supplied, not inferred from a formula or molar-mass database.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
