Agricultural Voucher Face Value Balance

Subtract explicit redeemed value from voucher face value in the same currency without applying program rules.

Description

Calculate supplied voucher value remaining and over-redemption flag.

Policy arithmetic depends on supplied rule editions, eligibility assertions, rate bases and accounting boundaries. A simple interest term does not select a legal rate, and passing recorded check flags does not establish program eligibility. Overspend and over-redemption can remain visible as signed discrepancies.

Calculate supplied voucher value remaining and over-redemption flag.

When to use this tool

Use Agricultural Voucher Face Value Balance when you already have faceValue, redeemedValue and need to calculate supplied voucher value remaining and over-redemption flag.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter faceValue, redeemedValue. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read remainingValue, overRedemption. Inspect overRedemption before interpreting the associated values.

Require face/redeemed values>=0; return face-redeemed and redeemed>face.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Negative balances are retained. The tool does not authenticate a voucher, verify redemption, determine entitlement or establish fraud or liability.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Consult authoritative program rules and original budget, evidence and payment records. Apply the complete eligibility and legal process when local caps, date gaps or labels cannot determine an actual obligation or entitlement.
