Description
Gross=workers*nights*nightlyCost+fixed; split gross by fraction/complement and divide workerTotal by workers.
Agribusiness budgets distinguish capacity, elapsed time, person-nights, physical losses, usable pack contents and moisture-normalized mass. A nominal unit cost differs from total profitability, and a cold-storage fee says nothing about actual preservation conditions. The reporting basis must match the supplied quantities.
Gross=workers*nights*nightlyCost+fixed; split gross by fraction/complement and divide workerTotal by workers.
When to use this tool
Use Seasonal Labor Accommodation Cost Share when checking the stated business quantity, resource, unit-cost or material-basis convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter workers, nights, nightlyCost, employerFraction, fixedCost. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read grossCost, employerCost, workerTotal, perWorker. Use the output convention below.
Require whole workers>=1 and nights>=0, nonnegative nightly/fixed costs and employer fraction in [0,1]. Gross=workers*nights*nightlyCost+fixed; split gross by fraction/complement and divide workerTotal by workers.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| workers | Workers | Required. Safe integer; minimum 1. |
| nights | Nights | Required. Safe integer; minimum 0. |
| nightlyCost | Currency per worker-night. | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| employerFraction | Employer Fraction | Required. Finite number; minimum 0; maximum 1. |
| fixedCost | Fixed Cost | Required. Finite number; minimum 0. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| grossCost | Gross Cost | Required. Finite number. |
| employerCost | Employer Cost | Required. Finite number. |
| workerTotal | Worker Total | Required. Finite number. |
| perWorker | Worker-funded total divided by worker count, after employer share. | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Nightly cost is per worker-night; no lawful wage deduction, housing quality or employer obligation is determined.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use verified operating and contract records and a complete suitable budget or material assessment for actual financial, logistical or quality decisions.
