Description

Subsidy=min(cap, fee*subsidyFraction); split the remaining fee by employerFractionOfNet and its complement.

Education payment records distinguish subsidies, deposits, transferable credit, refund bands and administrative fees. A supplied calculation can reconcile a proposed balance without determining which fees or refunds are legally or institutionally available. Endpoint inclusion and the order of deductions can change the result.

Subsidy=min(cap, fee*subsidyFraction); split the remaining fee by employerFractionOfNet and its complement.

When to use this tool

Use Training Subsidy Employer Employee Split when checking the stated caller-defined course-cost or refund convention.

Limitations and assumptions

  • Employer share applies after subsidy; no actual eligibility, employer obligation or funding agreement is determined.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Inspect the applicable enrollment/funding agreement and current institutional rules with the responsible financial/legal professionals for actual entitlements.
