Trial Session Attendance Share Tool

Compute supplied research attendance coverage without a therapy recommendation.

Description

Return attended/planned, or zero with defined=false when planned=0.

Acupuncture research records distinguish reporting completeness, source editions, treatment-contact labels, outcome direction and missing-outcome scenarios. These tools organize benign study or public-source metadata; they do not provide treatment instructions, locate intervention sites or determine safety or efficacy. Reporting support and clinical evidence are different questions.

Return attended/planned, or zero with defined=false when planned=0.

When to use this tool

Use Trial Session Attendance Share when checking the stated benign study-record, public-source or reporting convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter attended, planned. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read share, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.

Require whole 0<=attended<=planned. Return attended/planned, or zero with defined=false when planned=0.1

Input fieldMeaning and unitsAccepted input
attendedAttendedRequired. Safe integer; minimum 0.
plannedPlannedRequired. Safe integer; minimum 0.
Output fieldInterpretationReturned shape
shareDimensionless share using the operation-specific denominator stated above; not a percentage number.Required. Finite number.
definedWhether the corresponding reporting denominator/value is defined; inspect before interpreting zero placeholders.Required. Boolean.

Limitations and assumptions

  • Session records do not establish treatment efficacy, adequate care or adherence to a clinical recommendation.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use the original protocol, registry, reports and appropriate complete research methods; consult qualified health professionals for actual care or clinical interpretation.
