Study Reporting Support Share Tool

Calculate study reporting support share from explicit caller-supplied inputs.

Description

Sum counts exactly as decimal text and return reported/required, or zero with defined=false for zero requirement.

Acupuncture research records distinguish reporting completeness, source editions, treatment-contact labels, outcome direction and missing-outcome scenarios. These tools organize benign study or public-source metadata; they do not provide treatment instructions, locate intervention sites or determine safety or efficacy. Reporting support and clinical evidence are different questions.

Sum counts exactly as decimal text and return reported/required, or zero with defined=false for zero requirement.

When to use this tool

Use Study Reporting Support Share when checking the stated benign study-record, public-source or reporting convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter studyIds, requiredElements, reportedElements. Follow any array-alignment requirements below. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read requiredDecimal, reportedDecimal, share, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.

Require aligned study IDs and whole element counts with 0<=reported<=required per row. Sum counts exactly as decimal text and return reported/required, or zero with defined=false for zero requirement.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Rows, including repeated study IDs, are added rather than deduplicated; coverage is element-weighted and is not an evidence-quality score.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use the original protocol, registry, reports and appropriate complete research methods; consult qualified health professionals for actual care or clinical interpretation.
