Exposure Assessment Model Calculator

Actual independently reviewed compatible exposure-scenario ledger, unknown scenarios retained. Route absorption, overlap, dose convention and kinetics independently resolved; not full PBPK, automatic external-to-internal exposure model or safe dose.

Description

An exposure ledger combines independently harmonized scenario dose entries and their known status.

An exposure ledger combines independently harmonized scenario dose entries and their known status.1

Unresolved scenarios are different from documented zero contributions.

When to use Exposure Assessment Model Calculator

Use this tool to calculate or review the supplied observations under the stated rules. Establish the chemical, exposure route, endpoint, measurement basis and independently applicable assay or assessment reference.

How to use Exposure Assessment Model Calculator and understand its results

  1. Establish the chemical, exposure route, endpoint, measurement basis and independently applicable assay or assessment reference.
  2. Enter actualScenarioIds, callerVerifiedScenarioDosePerKg, scenarioEvidenceKnownFlags, using the field meanings and rules below, then run the tool.
  3. Read knownTotal together with knownIds and unknownIds. A zero known total with unknown records is an incomplete exposure inventory.
  4. Correct any reported input issue and run again. Before using a successful result, check the stated units, signs, reference scope and observation coverage.
Input fieldMeaningValue typeRequirement
actualScenarioIdsActual scenario idslist of stringRequired
callerVerifiedScenarioDosePerKgCaller verified scenario dose per kglist of numberRequired
scenarioEvidenceKnownFlagsScenario evidence known flags; binary 1 means the matched observation is known, 0 means unknownlist of numberRequired

Supply nonempty aligned unique nonblank record IDs, nonnegative recorded contributions and binary known flags. Sum known contributions only and partition IDs into known and unknown lists in input order. An entirely unknown ledger returns zero known total alongside unknown IDs, not a complete zero exposure.

knownTotal=Σ(contribution_i where known_i=1)

Use the matching field units and the exact boundary, ordering and reference rules above.

result.unknownIdsRecord identifiers whose contributions remain unknown, in supplied order.list

Limitations and assumptions

Chemical identity, route, assay, exposure basis and reference applicability are caller-established. The output supplies no causal conclusion, universal toxicity threshold or authoritative regulatory determination.

Missing required fields, unknown fields, wrong types and violated rules return input issues. Numeric values and outputs must be finite. Lists and matrices must be dense, without missing cells. Numeric lists allow at most 10000 entries, subject to the narrower lengths and code rules above. String lists allow at most 128 entries, with each string at most 128 UTF-16 units; blank and duplicate rules are stated above. Extremely large composite outputs are rejected.

Alternative or Complementary methods

For a related step, use Cumulative Exposure Calculator: Cumulative dose bookkeeping sums daily dose rates across disjoint observed intervals. For a complementary comparison, use Concentration to Dose Calculator: Recorded administered mass can be calculated from concentration and contacted or ingested volume.
