Survey Team Role Assignment Rotation Scheduler
Deterministic cyclic rotation of actual equally sized survey participant/role inventories. Training, accessibility and qualification external; not automatically assign unqualified safety roles.
Description
Survey roles can be rotated cyclically across an equally sized participant inventory.
Survey roles can be rotated cyclically across an equally sized participant inventory.1
A deterministic rotation preserves the declared role list without verifying training or suitability.
When to use Survey Team Role Assignment Rotation Scheduler
Use this tool to obtain participantIds, assignedRoleIds from the supplied records using the stated calculation. Establish the survey or observation scope, reference frame, units and independently applicable calibration or qualified plan.
How to use Survey Team Role Assignment Rotation Scheduler and understand its results
- Establish the survey or observation scope, reference frame, units and independently applicable calibration or qualified plan.
- Enter actualParticipantIds, actualIndependentlyAssignedRoleIds, completedRotationCount, using the field meanings and rules below, then run the tool.
- Read result.participantIds, result.assignedRoleIds. Use the units and sign conventions below, and review any unknown records separately.
- Correct any reported input issue and run again. Before using a successful result, check the stated units, signs, reference scope and observation coverage.
| Input field | Meaning | Value type | Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| actualParticipantIds | Actual participant ids | list of string | Required |
| actualIndependentlyAssignedRoleIds | Actual independently assigned role ids | list of string | Required |
| completedRotationCount | Completed rotation count | number | Required |
Supply nonempty unique nonblank participant and role IDs with equal lengths, plus an integer completed rotation count from zero through one million. Keep participants in input order and cyclically assign role (participantIndex+rotationCount) modulo list length. Role qualifications are supplied externally.
assignedRole_i=roles[(i+completedRotations) mod roleCount] Use the matching field units and the exact boundary, ordering and reference rules above.
| Output field | Meaning | Value type |
|---|---|---|
| result | Qualified observed calculation or explicit reference | object |
| result.participantIds | Participant identifiers retained in input order. | list |
| result.assignedRoleIds | Cyclically assigned role identifiers aligned with participantIds. | list |

} Limitations and assumptions
The actual observation coverage, calibration and qualified plan determine applicability. A numerical result does not establish survey accuracy, route suitability, atmosphere conditions or equipment adequacy beyond the declared comparison.
Missing required fields, unknown fields, wrong types and violated rules return input issues. Numeric values and outputs must be finite. Lists and matrices must be dense, without missing cells. String lists allow at most 128 entries of at most 128 UTF-16 units each; blank and duplicate rules are stated above. Extremely large composite outputs are rejected.
Alternative or Complementary methods
For a related step, use Party Spacing Communication Gap Planner: Party spacing depends on communication, terrain, visibility and team context. For a complementary comparison, use Backup Light Count by Trip Duration Rule Checker: A lighting plan distinguishes separately checked primary and backup sources in the actual trip context.
