Description
Choose a case-note name or mask under a supplied display-permission flag.
Support records distinguish a person's stated preferences from eligibility decisions, service delivery and permission to disclose data. A normalized goal weight describes a declared weighting system, while a voucher or referral time margin describes supplied bookkeeping. Labels and display masks do not establish safety, valid consent, appropriate priority or actual entitlement.
Choose a case-note name or mask under a supplied display-permission flag.
When to use this tool
Use Consented Case Note Name Mask when you already have suppliedName, maskText, displayPermissionRecorded and need to choose a case-note name or mask under a supplied display-permission flag.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter suppliedName, maskText, displayPermissionRecorded. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read displayText, masked. Inspect masked before interpreting the associated values.
Require maskText nonempty; display suppliedName when permission recorded, otherwise maskText, and return the masked flag.1

"input": {
"suppliedName": "Name A",
"maskText": "[name withheld]",
"displayPermissionRecorded": false
},
"output": {

} Limitations and assumptions
- This selects display text without deleting data, anonymizing records or establishing valid consent or disclosure authority.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Review the person's recorded preferences, governing service criteria and actual referral or voucher records. For disclosure, apply the relevant access controls to the underlying data rather than treating a display mask or recorded permission flag as the whole process.
