Set Single Element Removal Flag Tool

Remove one exact string member from a finite set, deduplicating the result in first-occurrence order.

Description

Deduplicate elements in first-occurrence order, report whether element is present, and filter it out for result.

A set contains distinct values, so duplicate input items do not contribute additional members. Ordered output is a serialization convention; membership, equality, and the chosen universe determine the underlying set result.

When to use this tool

Use Set Single Element Removal Flag when you need a deterministic operation on explicitly supplied sets or a finite membership representation.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter elements, element. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read changed, result. Inspect changed before interpreting the associated values.

Limitations and assumptions

  • This uses exact element equality and removes every duplicate representation; no multiset count or source list is mutated.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Specify the universe and equality convention before combining this result with other set operations.
