Description
Calculate rheumatology research interreader gap from explicit caller-supplied inputs.
Research records distinguish observed, missing, inapplicable, and unverified entries. Those categories affect which denominator or weight a summary uses. A completeness or timing calculation describes the supplied records without assigning a clinical score or interpreting a condition.
Calculate rheumatology research interreader gap from explicit caller-supplied inputs.
When to use this tool
Use it for rheumatology research interreader gap when the required inputs and conventions are already available.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter first, second, maximumGap. Keep parallel arrays aligned and use the stated units and conventions.
- Run the calculation. Correct any input error before interpreting a result.
- Read differences, meanDifference, outsideIndices. Inspect any known, defined, inclusion, or boundary flags before interpreting numeric values.
Compare equal nonempty reader arrays using second minus first, return their mean signed difference, and list zero-based positions whose absolute gap strictly exceeds maximumGap.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- An exact-threshold gap is not outside. The bound must be nonnegative, and paired units must match; this is descriptive research reconciliation rather than an agreement study or disease interpretation.
- The field tables describe structural bounds; the mechanics also state cross-field requirements. Malformed input shapes, disallowed keys, and invalid domains cause input errors. Results must remain finite and within the declared output contract. A successful false flag or zero placeholder is distinct from an error.
- Numeric arithmetic uses binary floating point. Exact comparisons have no hidden tolerance or decimal rounding; negative zero is exported as zero. Decimal-text integer operations retain the exactness specifically stated above.
Alternative or Complementary methods
For rheumatology research interreader gap, check the source records and the supplied rule before comparing the result with another method. Use an appropriately validated measurement or analysis method for clinical interpretation.
