Description
Reconcile expected diary bins with duplicate and unexpected entries.
Research records distinguish observed, missing, inapplicable, and unverified entries. Those categories affect which denominator or weight a summary uses. A completeness or timing calculation describes the supplied records without assigning a clinical score or interpreting a condition.
Reconcile expected diary bins with duplicate and unexpected entries.
When to use this tool
Use it for rheumatology diary timebin completeness when the required inputs and conventions are already available.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter expectedIds, recordedIds. Keep parallel arrays aligned and use the stated units and conventions.
- Run the calculation. Correct any input error before interpreting a result.
- Read completed, missing, duplicateIds, unexpected. Inspect any known, defined, inclusion, or boundary flags before interpreting numeric values.
Match recorded diary-bin IDs against a distinct expected-ID bank. Return completed and missing IDs in expected order, plus duplicate recorded IDs and distinct unexpected IDs in first-recorded order.1

| recordedIds | Recorded Ids | Required. Array of Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192.; maximum items 256. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |

| completed | Completed | Required. Array of Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192.; maximum items 256. |
| missing | Missing | Required. Array of Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192.; maximum items 256. |
| duplicateIds | Duplicate Ids | Required. Array of Text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192.; maximum items 256. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Only exact strings are compared. A duplicate or unexpected entry does not supply a missing bin, and recorded presence does not validate observation quality or clinical meaning.
- The field tables describe structural bounds; the mechanics also state cross-field requirements. Malformed input shapes, disallowed keys, and invalid domains cause input errors. Results must remain finite and within the declared output contract. A successful false flag or zero placeholder is distinct from an error.
- Numeric arithmetic uses binary floating point. Exact comparisons have no hidden tolerance or decimal rounding; negative zero is exported as zero. Decimal-text integer operations retain the exactness specifically stated above.
Alternative or Complementary methods
For rheumatology diary timebin completeness, check the source records and the supplied rule before comparing the result with another method. Use an appropriately validated measurement or analysis method for clinical interpretation.
