Public Religious Event Admission Window

Compare an explicit arrival marker with a supplied public-event admission window without deciding admission rights.

Description

Check an arrival time against a supplied public-event admission window.

Religious-source records depend on the work, edition, translation, calendar tradition and locator system. Verse numbers and hymn-meter counts are supplied annotations; a shared label need not imply identical text or observance. Evening starts, transfer rules and public admission windows require their stated source rather than an assumed universal calendar or authority.

When to use this tool

Use Public Religious Event Admission Window when you already have arrivalMinutes, openingMinutes, closingMinutes, includeClosing and need to check an arrival time against a supplied public-event admission window.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter arrivalMinutes, openingMinutes, closingMinutes, includeClosing. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read withinSuppliedWindow. Inspect withinSuppliedWindow before interpreting the associated values.

Require closing>=opening. Include opening, and include closing only when includeClosing=true.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • An equal-endpoint window contains only its endpoint when closing is included; no actual admission policy or event access is established.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Consult the specific work, edition, calendar authority or rights record for a verified citation or observance. Use the source text and its prosodic convention for actual syllable analysis; supplied counts and locators can organize that review.
