Random Tibetan Digit Generator

Choose one Unicode 18.0 tibetan digit from its explicitly bounded repertoire using injected randomness.

Description

Generate one Tibetan decimal digit from U+0F20 through U+0F29.

Tibetan has encoded decimal digits distinct from Latin 0–9. This generator chooses one decimal digit glyph for font checks, localized display examples, or digit-recognition practice.1

The fixed range U+0F20–U+0F29 contains ten digits in numeric order from zero to nine. Output value is a one-character string, not a number. It excludes Tibetan half digits and other numeric signs.

When to use Random Tibetan Digit Generator

Use it to test Tibetan digit rendering, Unicode-preserving storage, or a practice prompt restricted to this ten-digit repertoire.

How to use Random Tibetan Digit Generator and understand its results

  1. Run the generator without input fields; API calls supply {}.
  2. Read or copy value as Unicode text. If you need a numeric value, interpret it against the documented zero-to-nine range rather than assuming ASCII parsing will accept it.
  3. Run again for more examples; duplicates and zero are allowed.
digit offset = floor(randomDraw × 10); code point = U+0F20 + offset

The generator converts the selected code point to a string. A uniform random source gives equal probability to the ten offsets.

{
  "input": {},
  "randomDraw": 0.25,
  "output": {
    "value": "༢"
  }
}

Draw zero returns ༠, while a draw just below one returns ༩. An injected draw of one, a negative value, or a nonfinite value is rejected.

Limitations and assumptions

The default source is Math.random; no seed input or cryptographic entropy guarantee is provided. Repeated runs may select the same result, and the distribution depends on the random source.

This does not transliterate numbers, format grouped or signed values, generate fractions, or guarantee that a parser or font supports the selected digit.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use the broader script-character generator when letters and signs are intended. An integer generator gives numeric data with caller-chosen bounds rather than a script-specific text digit.
