Random Jawi Letter Generator

Choose one item from the explicitly enumerated modern Jawi alphabet repertoire using injected randomness; multigraph letters remain one result.

Description

Select one token from the stored 36-entry Jawi letter repertoire.

Jawi writes Malay using Arabic-derived letters. Unicode encodes language-specific Arabic-script letters separately from contextual presentation forms.1

The generator’s stored list includes forms such as چ, ڠ, ڤ, ݢ, گ, ۏ, and ڽ alongside other letters. It is a fixed tool repertoire, not a selectable national spelling standard or a complete list of characters found in Jawi text.

When to use Random Jawi Letter Generator

Use it for Jawi letter-recognition prompts or rendering fixtures where the fixed candidate list is appropriate.

How to use Random Jawi Letter Generator and understand its results

  1. Run without input fields; API requests use {}.
  2. Read or copy value as the complete stored token, preserving all its Unicode characters.
  3. Run again for another prompt. Keep the result separate from any answer label or surrounding text you supply.
index = floor(randomDraw × 36); value = storedRepertoire[index]

One finite draw in [0, 1) chooses the complete token. Uniform randomness gives each entry equal weight regardless of string length.

The selector returns the stored character unchanged. It performs no Arabic-block scan, transliteration, contextual shaping, or orthographic normalization. Similar ga and kaf forms are not merged.

  "output": {
    "value": "ذ"
  }
}

Draw zero selects the first entry and a draw just below one selects the last. Negative, nonfinite, and one-valued draws fail. Results can repeat; no history or without-replacement option is supplied.

Limitations and assumptions

The default source is Math.random; no seed input or cryptographic entropy guarantee is provided. Repeated runs may select the same result, and the distribution depends on the random source.

The output does not form words, add vowel marks, or validate Jawi spelling. Joining appearance depends on surrounding text and the renderer.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Choose a related generator only when its repertoire is intended. Inspect text encodings and token length separately; a selected token can contain more than one code point.
