Random Cistercian Numeral Generator
Randomize explicit independently qualified Cistercian numeral glyph assets using the existing repertoire sampler and one advancing random source. No built-in glyph drawing, authoritative repertoire, railway operating instruction or tactile readability guarantee.
Description
Sample caller-qualified Cistercian numeral assets reproducibly, retaining source, context and date.
Cistercian numeral practice can draw from a qualified collection of glyph or asset tokens. A source, context and date distinguish a supplied repertoire from a universal built-in numeral font.
When to use this tool
Sample caller-qualified Cistercian numeral assets reproducibly, retaining source, context and date.
- Prepare the supplied seed, count, withoutReplacement, callerVerifiedSource, callerVerifiedContext, callerVerifiedAsOfDate, callerVerifiedAssets fields for this operation.
- Compare the complete example with the representation used by your own input before carrying the result into another step.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter seed, count, withoutReplacement, callerVerifiedSource, callerVerifiedContext, callerVerifiedAsOfDate, callerVerifiedAssets. Use the exact text syntax, units and index conventions explained below.
- Run the tool. If input validation fails, correct the supplied fields before interpreting any result.
- Read result.values, result.selectedEntryIndices, result.repertoireSize, result.source, result.context, result.asOfDate. Interpret false, null and empty lists using the distinctions below; they can be valid outputs.
Require nonblank source/context, a valid Gregorian date and a nonempty inventory of distinct nonblank callerVerifiedAssets. Initialize the seeded random source, select count inventory indexes under withoutReplacement and return the corresponding strings unchanged, their selectedEntryIndices, repertoireSize and the supplied provenance labels. No assets are downloaded, decoded or independently verified.1
| Input field | Meaning and representation | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| seed | Reproducibility seed for sampling; keep it with the inventory and output. | Nonblank text, at most 256 UTF-16 code units |
| count | Number of draws; draws select candidate positions. | Integer from 1 to 64; no more than inventory size without replacement |
| withoutReplacement | Explicit choice for without replacement; supply a boolean rather than a text label. | true or false |
| callerVerifiedSource | Source/edition identifier you supply for the evidence. | Nonblank text, at most 1,024 code units; not authenticated |
| callerVerifiedContext | Applicability, jurisdiction, device or scientific context you supply. | Nonblank text, at most 1,024 code units; not authenticated |
| callerVerifiedAsOfDate | Reference date supplied by you; retained with the result. | Valid Gregorian YYYY-MM-DD date; not proof of freshness |
| callerVerifiedAssets | caller verified assets. | At most 128 strings, each at most 128 UTF-16 code units |
| Output field | Interpretation |
|---|---|
| result | Object containing the named outputs below. |
| result.values | The values list in the ordering and representation described above. |
| result.selectedEntryIndices | Zero-based positions of selected repertoire entries, in draw order. |
| result.repertoireSize | Number of entries in the supplied validated repertoire. |
| result.source | The source/edition label supplied by the caller, echoed without independent authentication. |
| result.context | The supplied applicability context, echoed unchanged. |
| result.asOfDate | The supplied reference date, validated as a calendar date rather than independently verified for currency. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- The sampler does not construct numerals, recognize glyphs or validate historical forms. Asset tokens are echoed as supplied, and the reference metadata is not independently authenticated.
- Seed must be nonblank and at most 256 UTF-16 code units; count is an integer from 1 through 64. Without replacement, count cannot exceed the available inventory. Sampling is reproducible with the same seed and implementation unless an execution context supplies its own random source.
- Every declared top-level field is required and unexpected fields are rejected. Numeric inputs must be finite; ordinary text fields are bounded to 8,192 UTF-16 code units, with tighter operation-specific limits where stated.
- Ordinary string lists have at most 128 entries of at most 128 code units each; numeric lists and matrices have separate bounded size checks. Nonfinite results and excessively large serialized outputs are rejected.
- Indexes are zero-based and spans have an exclusive end unless explicitly stated otherwise. A valid false, null or empty-list result is distinct from malformed input.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use the linked base calculator directly when you need one known answer, and use a sampled corpus for repeatable practice. Retain the candidate inventory, seed and tool/runtime versions with a result; caller-supplied asset tokens need their own provenance and rendering workflow.
