Description
Audit supplied screening participation stages without estimating test accuracy.
Public-health summaries depend on who is counted, which observations are verified, and the period and population used as the base. Shares, weighted contributions, and inventory balances describe supplied records; they do not by themselves establish a health outcome or a clinical recommendation.
Audit supplied screening participation stages without estimating test accuracy.
When to use this tool
Use it for screening program invited tested share when the required inputs and conventions are already available.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter invited, consented, tested, validResults. Use the stated units and boundary conventions.
- Run the calculation. Correct any input error before interpreting a result.
- Read consentShare, testAmongConsented, validAmongTested, validAmongInvited. Inspect any known, defined, inclusion, or boundary flags before interpreting numeric values.
Require positive integer invited, consented within invited, tested within consented, and validResults from zero through tested. Return consent/invited, tested/consented, valid/tested, and valid/invited shares.1

| consented | Consented | Required. Safe integer; minimum 1. |
| tested | Tested | Required. Safe integer; minimum 1. |
| validResults | Valid Results | Required. Safe integer; minimum 0. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| consentShare | Consent Share | Required. Finite number. |
| testAmongConsented | Test Among Consented | Required. Finite number. |
| validAmongTested | Valid Among Tested | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- The first three denominators must be nonzero. These are distinct stages of a supplied screening funnel, not measures of test accuracy, health benefit, or individual screening recommendations.
- The field tables describe structural bounds; the mechanics also state cross-field requirements. Malformed input shapes, disallowed keys, and invalid domains cause input errors. Results must remain finite and within the declared output contract. A successful false flag or zero placeholder is distinct from an error.
- Numeric arithmetic uses binary floating point. Exact comparisons have no hidden tolerance or decimal rounding; negative zero is exported as zero. Decimal-text integer operations retain the exactness specifically stated above.
Alternative or Complementary methods
For screening program invited tested share, check the source records and the supplied rule before comparing the result with another method. Use an appropriately validated measurement or analysis method for clinical interpretation.
