Description

Explicit session attendance and refund-minute ledger; no treatment adequacy or billing entitlement rule is inferred.

Research questionnaires and interview records distinguish answered, declined, omitted, unpresented, and inapplicable items. Timing and support annotations also affect their denominators. A completeness measure or scale transformation describes those records without establishing an instrument score or a mental-health assessment.

Explicit session attendance and refund-minute ledger; no treatment adequacy or billing entitlement rule is inferred.

When to use this tool

Use Therapy Session Attended Net Minutes when you need the particular completeness, timing, polarity, or bookkeeping term for supplied research and interview records.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter scheduledMinutes, lateMinutes, earlyDepartureMinutes, interruptionMinutes, refundedMinutes. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read attendedMinutes, billableMinutes, attendanceFraction. Use the output convention below.

Subtract late, early-departure, and interruption minutes from positive scheduledMinutes for attendedMinutes. Subtract refundedMinutes with a zero floor for billableMinutes and divide attendance by scheduled duration for attendanceFraction.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Recorded attendance deductions must fit the schedule, while refunds can exceed attendance. The tool does not verify therapy delivery, reimbursement rules, clinical benefit, or an appropriate session duration.
  • The field tables state structural bounds; the mechanics also specify cross-field constraints. Malformed inputs and unsupported domains cause errors. A successful false flag, empty branch value, or zero placeholder has the meaning stated above and is distinct from an input error.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Signed zero is exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use the relevant validated instrument and its documented missing-response and scoring procedures when the task requires an assessment. Verify research annotations and timing before combining record terms.
